Follow the basic troubleshooting steps before contacting technical support.
If you have a technical issue with your laptop, you must adhere to the following process:
- You must contact Dell.
- Whatsapp chat is available for quick and convenient support, as well as a 24/7 phone line.
- You are responsible for chasing up the issue and making sure it has been rectified.
- When the call has been closed, you will receive a further email stating the resolution and the steps taken to resolve the problem.
If you have a technical issue with your Microsoft account or apps, you must adhere to the following process:
- Raise a request with an admin user (Gregor MacKenzie, or Debra Holis-King if Gregor is unavailable).
- The admin user will arrange for Microsoft to call you to address your technical issue by visiting the admin dashboard, selecting ‘help and support’ shown on the bottom right of the screen, and then following the on screen walkthrough to arrange a service request with Microsoft directly. Do not contact our historic ‘Microsoft partners’ IDCIT or Microtech. Select ‘new Microsoft service request’ at the foot of the contact support popup.
- You are responsible for chasing up the issue and making sure it has been rectified.
